Mississippi school districts traditionally lacked a commercially viable means of using or disposing of their old buildings. Young Law Group drafted legislation to create new options and is now working with school districts, developers and private business to covert old school buildings into commercial projects. This benefits schools, developers and the communities as a whole.

A frequent obstacle to development throughout the state is an entity’s lack of resources for construction or development. In cooperation with local economic development agencies and private businesses, we are working to identify state and federal incentives as well as other non-traditional financing alternatives to enable business growth and development.
